Add LOCKS to the Column to the List
Add the LOCKS field to the Column lists so I can add that view to my virtual machines view. I have 100 Virtual machines and there isn't a quick view I can use to see which VMs are protected and which VMs are not, I have to open each VM and look at locks, or I have to name each lock different so I can figure out which one is protected.

To modify the text of the anchored items in the panel
Some items of the panel don't show any name or description when you anchor them. It may be interesting to change it.

Visual state (running/stopped) when a VM tile is 1x1
It would be great if I could resize my VM tiles to 1x1, but still be able to check what VMs are running or stopped from there. Maybe changing the icon color to light gray when stoped, and blue when running

Bring back simplicity of VM wizard menus
The new portal is great for showing what's going on with our VMs, however, every time I want to configure it, it seems like the process is either x10 or x100 times harder.
In the classic portal, setting up endpoints was easy. Now? No idea!
As a software engineer who just wants VMs up and running in no time, the classical Azure portal made life easy. Please bring these configuration features back.
I understand that server engineers will love the scripting part of it, but the vast majority of us don't fit into this speciality.

Unpinning from dashboard doesn't reset view
When you right click and unpin from the dashboard, it'll reset your view by panning your browser to the farthest left. So if you have many things to unpin to the far right side of the dashboard (scrolling right), you'll have to re-scroll to the right every time you unpin. Ideally the browser view should stay in-place when you unpin

It would be really nice if the old (far better) portal usability could be retained.
It just took me 20 minutes (and about 30 Google searches) to find the Create VM from Image functionality. It moved, and there is no hint at where it went.

No option to auto arrange tiles?
Why not provide a button to auto arrange tiles? Sort them based on name, creation date, etc.

Make " pin to dashboard a default". All items should be pinned to dashboard
Make " pin to dashboard a default". All items should be pinned to dashboard. VERY USEFUL!
2 votesWe just removed that default based on feedback. We can add an option in portal settings if this bubbles up to the top of the priority list.

Action buttons take too much space
The "Add", "Columns", "Refresh", etc buttons at the top of the blades eat a lot of vertical real estate considering how often one needs to press it.
Consider a smaller band that expands upon mouse hover... (or putting them next to the blade title).
1 voteWe’ll consider a new design for blade headers

More available layouts for tiles on the Dashboard
Allow for a 1x2, 1x4, etc. tile setup. I cannot currently even get back to the original layout of the Resources tile.

allow multiple sources for a graph on the dashboard
Currently for example you can only have data on a graph regarding one thing such as "Website" but you can add multiple different bits of information, such as data in, data out and request but as soon as you mix types e.g counts and Data the axis become unreadable.
If you could join a graph across multiple websites (or similar objects) then you could have one graph with multiple lines on it all related to the request count for different websites you currently own. This would mean less graphs needed to display the same data on the dashboard and would…

Custom images on tiles
I'm getting used to use my dashboard. And after organizing my graphs and tiles it has become my entry point to everything I do.
However, -We quickly end up with lots tiles for VM's, Web apps and other resources. It's good that I can resize and group them, but as they all look the same it's kind of difficult to set them apart.
I believe that if you could upload and set custom images on your tiles, it would make it easier to find and more personal.

Azure portal and igoogle

Allow multi-tasking
Currently, I can only monitor one resource at a time. It would be great if I could monitor more than one on the same screen, without having to switch back and forth.
4 votesWe can definitely look into this. The dashboard is a great way to do this today. Let us know if there’s something more you’re looking for.

Selecting a subscription is not intuitive.
I had to spend some time to find out how to select a subscription. Selecting a subscription to work on is not intuitive. Once I select a subscription, that subscription name is not displayed anywhere.
3 votesThanks for the feedback. We’ll think of better ways to make this more discoverable.
