notification actions create multiple open blades on subsequent clicks
Click on a notification that is still processing. You get a blade open that shows some information. Leave that blade open, and click the same notification again. You get ANOTHER blade showing the SAME info. Can't you tie the newly opened blade to the Notification item from which it came?

Stop showing settings on every item opened
Currently when I open anything in the portal that has a "Settings" menu as well, the settings menu opens up automatically. It's a pain and I don't want to see it on everything I open - at least give us an option to choose to turn that behavior off rather than making it the default.
4 votesThanks for the feedback. We’re working on an improved design for this menu. We’d love to hear more about what works well, what doesn’t, and how we can streamline the experience for you.

Please engage some good designers to design the site. The new Portal is at best "Confusing".
Please engage some good designers to design the site. The new Portal is at best "Confusing".
More so with LiveId accounts that are used in multiple subscriptions.
You will need good designers and information architects to sit through multiple sessions to come up with a suitable and clean ui flow. I used to think that Canonicals Jujucharms https://demo.jujucharms.com/ did a good job of it .. not so much now .. It is a hard problem to represent dense actionable information in a limited screen real estate.3 votesReached out for more information…

blades minimize automatically
when creating new resources I find the 'new resource selector' and then the create blades are in the way once I have selected the type of resource and determined to create it.
I always find myself minimizing those two places over and over again to see the resource group or other previous blade for names and to help me fill out the fields more accurately.
in the screenshot I have the 2 I mention minimized.
It would be so helpful to automatically minimize certain blades as you traverse to the next blade.1 voteWe’re working on a new design that will make better use of screen real estate. That should mitigate your concerns here.

Ability to view a list of resources grouped by columns values
When browsing resources in "All Resources" or by any other resource types it would be great to have the ability to view the list of resources grouped by columns values. It can be only one group, no need to have complex multi-field grouping here.
A typical scenario would be this one: I have already filtered 4 subscriptions out of 30+ and I want to group resources by subscription, resource group or even resource type.

Please please get rid of the leftmost menu and replace it with the menu that appears after clicking Browse
I hate clicking Browse to see the full list of services. It's an extra click for me. Put the full list on the leftmost panel and keep the filter textbox. Or merge the two menus together keeping the current leftmost panel at the top and full list at the bottom so users can still see most commonly used services. This is driving me nuts.

after showing notifications, view should not return to homepage
When I click a notification, the notification blade is showed and when I close it, the context where I was working is lost.
Ex: in VM (classic) blade I decide to start a VM, the notification shows me an error, I click the notification, read the error message and then close the notification blade. At this point the home page is shown instead of the blades I had previously. Would it be possible to show the notification blade on the right? or perhaps, next to the blade I'm currently using?2 votesDefinitely!

Browse should only show everything I HAVE
"Browse Everything" should only show everything I HAVE. there is no way to easily see everything I have deployed like I can in the current portal.

endless loop journeys
Azure Portal continues on and on when you clicking on resources (endless loop journeys). Surely it should know that the blade to the left is the one it’s trying to open and just go there?
