HDInsight Security insight and integration with Active Directory documentation
Document how security is implemented with AD integration in an Enterprise HDInsight multi-node cluster.

We are working on making Active Directory integration available with HDInsight. We’ll provide further updates on this thread as we get closer to general availability.

We deployed Enterprise Security Package (ESP) preview and looks it is lacking the WebHCat when ESP is enabled. It is nice to have this enabled. Could you let us know the direction of WebHcat in HDI Clusters with ESP?

As per this demo https://channel9.msdn.com/Shows/Data-Exposed/Securing-Azure-HDInsight, it seems this feature is in.
But I neither see any documentation related to this nor option to linking AADS option while cluster creation in portal , is this still in private preview?
Please share more information on this feature

According to below this should be complete. Though I cannot find any documentation on how to do so nor does creating the cluster from portal present any obvious options to integrate AAD.

As we evaluate multiple products, seamless integration across Microsoft products is a key factor in choosing capabilities. AD is one major component that helps with security.

There doesn't seem to be any progress on this front. Coming from another brand of Hadoop products I'd hoped for tighter integration with Active Directory. So far it turns out that is not the case.
