Allow database specific alerts to be set up at elastic pool level
At present, you can set up alerts for elastic pool resources and alerts for individual database resources. However, if you have say 100 databases in your elastic pool, setting alerts per database is a real pain.
It would be good to set up database specific alerts at elastic pool level so it can be managed easily.
For example, we'd like to set up an alert when the number of database sessions reaches 80% but doing this across all of the databases in an elastic pool isn't easy.

Thanks for the feedback. Note that it is possible to define an alert once for databases in an elastic pools using OMS (Log Analytics).
Blog describing OMS for SQL DB including elastic pools:
Article also describes using OMS for elastic pools within the context of a sample app:

Looks like this can be done through powershell (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/sql-database/sql-database-elastic-pool-manage-powershell) - will give it a go but still would be good to be able to do through Azure Portal

Also handy for us. Currently we arent using it because there are too many DBs to go and configure them one by one.
