Traffic Manager Failover profile alert
Can you please add alert rule for Azure traffic manager to update the co-admin by sending mail alert whenever there is a down of primary / secondary and switch over?
Since our customer wants to create alert for this scenario.
This will greatly relax the customer to sit in a place to watch service changes through mail.
Endpoint health status is emitted as a metric. You can set alerts for changes in endpoint health status.

This functionality should be available now in metrics, you can make an alert for an endpoints probe status if it's 0.
This seems very basic alert functionality to be provided!! any ETA?
Getting automated notifications when the status of health check status changes is a 101 monitoring, any ETA?
AWS CloudWatch has it for a while now.
please let me know when this will be added, badly need, so many issues in traffic manager.
This is definitely a needed feature, please get this added
Any update? It's kinda bizarre that this isn't a feature yet...

latest update please?
Hello Guys, any ETA on this.

this should be a configurable alert, either by email or webhook
Just had a failed, failover incident. My webapp, application insights did catch the error, but it would nice to have traffic manager alerts as well. This could have saved me time, as I was waiting for the failover to happen.
Much needed feature I must say.

This would be helpful, indeed!!
Agreed with other comments - in my web applications that probe service health, I can send an email if a probe fails. If the page itself takes 10 seconds or longer, however, traffic manager is failing over to secondary and no alerts are made. It would be good to know when the switch occurs..
indeed it's a very interesting feature to include

This is vital for various production scenarios. Has progress been made?
This would be massively useful. As this information is vital for both devops, sysops and end client
I was just trying to set this up, but wasn't available
I also couldn't see the the event logged in the audit/event trails
was anything ever implemented in regards to email notification when something goes wrong?
