Enable Azure Front Door managed certificates in ARM Templates
Azure Front Door is GA. We really want to use it throughout our build/release cycles. We are not able to do so because it is not possible to setup the custom domain AFD managed certs via ARM templates. When will this be available.
Thanks for the valid suggestion. Your feedback is now open for the user community to upvote which allows us to effectively prioritize your request against our existing feature list and also gives us insight into the potential impact of implementing the suggested feature

here is an AFD deployment template:
that uses a child template, that includes a DeploymentScript example that covers this configuration.

Looking forward to when we are able to enable CUSTOM DOMAIN HTTPS through ARM templates.

This partial implementation of Front Door via ARM kills DevSecOps.
This would be a great addition, currently we have to deploy the ARM template and then use the CLI to achieve a proper Front Door deployment.

This is definitely one step away from automating front door 100%, and is really needed when deploying ARM template through Azure Devops. Please include the function in ARM template as well.

Hello. Hit this issue this week and spent way too much time on it. If a property is settable through the Rest API - customHttpsConfiguration of front end endpoints, then it should be settable via ARM templates. Period.
This feedback item should include not just support for Front-Door managed certificates via ARM but also Key vault sourced certificates via ARM. This is possible via a POST request, but not via ARM templates.
