Naked Domain CDN
Azure CDN doesn't suport custom domain for naked domain.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cdn/cdn-map-content-to-custom-domain
To use naked domain CDN, we need to use CloudFlare instead of Azure CDN currently.

Azure you need to pull your &&&# together how come Amazon supports this feature via Route53 you can seamlessly hookup your bucket endpoints to both apex domain and subdomain like its a walk in the park and you guys just over-complicating things..

Why isn't this rolled out an working by now? All your competitors do this.
The fact that this wasn't even in the initial implementation is another example of a frustrating half-baked Azure implementation.
