Azure Load Balancer to support HTTPS probes
Currently it is not possible to utilise a HTTPS (port 443) probe against a backend pool and as a result you must use either port 80 or a TCP probe which isn't the same as actually making a HTTPS request and testing the HTTP response code.
This feature is now available for Standard Load Balancers. Please take a look at https://aka.ms/lbprobes for details.

maybe i'm blind but the word "https" and "probe" are no where to be found on the preview page
Would too like to see this. We also only allow HTTPS, so TCP is kind of the only thing we can do right now and it's not ideal.
Any updates on this? We only allow https requests so https probes is a must.
is this possible to configure HTML Probing with Cloud Service LB. if yes than what are the steps to perform it on existing LB.

HTTPS probe feature would be very handy, and make the product a lot more appealing.
