Enable Multiple IP addresses for Azure Application Gateway
Azure Application Gateway is a nice Service for Load Balancing Layer 7 HTTP and HTTPS traffic. Today, we can only attribute one IP address (Public or Private) to the Application Gateway Deployment. It is fundamental that a Load Balancer can support multiple IP addresses to provide flexibility (Based on many customers feedback)
Support for both public and private IP at the same time is available on both V1 and V2 SKU. Customers can host multiple sites behind the same IP and port using multi-site listener today.
Support for allowing same port on both public and private IP is in the roadmap.

We need the Azure WAF to support multiple public or private IPs on the same device like your other competitors do, i.e. Barracuda, etc. We currently cannot use the Azure WAF because we have a requirement for each site to have its own public or private IP.
I don't to spin up a seperate WAF for each website. I understand content rules are available to allow usage of one IP and direct traffic to multiple backend servers based on the headers. This, however, doesn't work for us and our model.
Please get up to speed with the competition at this point.

But it is a must to listen on more than one public address so we'd be able to host multiple HTTPS external sites thru the same WAF.
We moved back from Azure Application Gateway to our old-fashioned VM-based because of that.
Any updates on this yet - Support for allowing same port on both public and private IP is in the roadmap?

Is there anything on the pipeline to allow the use of multiple private IPs on a single Application Gateway?
Any updates on supporting multiple frontend IPs? It's been almost 4 years since this feature was requested.

SKU V2 supports multiple one private IP and one public IP feature. But it can not support same port number for listener . Ideally the app GW should support same port on public IP and private IP. Without this feature , multi IP support is not going to be very much useful. Because we would want port 80,443 for both IPs (one private , one public IP)

Is this part of the new new V2 sku?

Is this still in the pipeline? If not available, what are the interim alternatives?

Any Update on this its pretty key for us.
Any update on potential GA/Preview?
Any idea when this will be released please?
When can we expect this on general availability?

@rob : Generally, Azure features are add/updated each quarter so maybe end of Q2
Any rough idea when this may see general availability? Trying to move from on-premise infra to cloud but this is a blocker.
