Thank you very much for the suggestion and interest in Import/Export. We will add this ask to our backlog for review.
Provide a way to request a .zip file through a list of blobs, or indicate the best way to do this.7 votes
can we have lable or drive creation on MAC OS currently no support3 votes
We will add this to our backlog for review.
Physical Import/Export Locations (perhaps Microsoft Retail Stores) where we can bring our drives to have data uploaded/downloaded from Azure, without the delay of shipping. If this also removed the per drive cost, we could also partition our data across more drives, improving performance further.1 vote
Thanks for your feedback! This ask will be discussed amongst our team to determine if we plan to do this and when.
When will it be here?1 vote
The current Azure Storage Import job process does not provide the subscriber any status updates as to when the drive is received, processed or transfer to storage starts. It would be great if we could subscribe to email notification so we can track the process or at a minimum log the detail in the portal for the subscriber to see. I have little info on when the job was started and can only see "Transferring" in the portal UI. Maybe this can be included when Import / Export is enabled in the "new" portal?1 vote
Import/Export will be soon available on Azure Portal with improved ability to track status.
for example, if I have blob with name '\root\directory\file1.txt
I want to have ability to see on drive which will be shipped to me during export job directory "root", subdirectory "directory" and inside file "file1.txt"1 vote
