Custom Domain with HTTPS for Static website hosting in Azure Storage
Currently it is necessary to use a CDN when using custom domains + HTTPS for static websites hosted in Azure Storage.
It would be more convenient in a lot of situations if this could be done right within the storage account without the cdn.
As with the CDN right now, it would be great to have a one-click certificate deployment process, maybe even using LetsEncrypt? ;-)

Recurso extremamento necessário para publicação de sites estáticos com domínios personalizados. Não deveria ser necessário utilizar CDN para tal, visto que, além de aumentar os custos gera maior complexidade. Certificados deveriam atender ao domínio raíz.

agree, this feature should be available without CDN.
We WANT this feature!
Absolutely agreed, this seems like a basic feature that is mysteriously missing.

From a consulting and solutioning perspective, the lack of this feature makes Azure a tough sell. Explaining to potential customers that you have to jump through hoops on almost all Azure services to setup SSL, which has become ubiquitous with the modern web, is challenging if not pitiful. Please, please, please, launch some sort of initiative to make SSL available and easily integrated across web-facing services. The "solution" of "oh you can use ssl but you have to upgrade plans / use a cdn / etc" makes everyone in the room cringe.
nice feature to have
Do you have any ideas when it will be available out of the box?
Yes, we need this feature.
I totally agree.
This is the missing piece of the puzzle
