Allow RDS User Profile Drives to be stored in Azure Files.
Currently we have to build a Scale-Out File Server using Storage Spaces Direct for redundant storage of Remote Desktop Services User Profile Drives. Would be much easier if this was available as part of Azure Files.

Doesn't the cloud cache feature of FsLgix meet this requirement? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/fslogix/configure-cloud-cache-tutorial - uses blob storage, which is cheaper and easier than file shares (no need to configure permissions)

It would be amazing if we could do this! I'd definitely love to see this implemented ASAP
@Tushar C, no that is just a script and instruction set to setup fileservers in the right way. You still run VM's for file server to store the User Profiles.
Azure Files uses a storage account and you do not need to run your own VM's for it.

Is this what was asked and is now available?
