  1. Add the Ability to unzip the zipped files in storage explorer

I was trying to upload a zipped VHD it uploaded as the size being only 2 GB, but I found a real pain in unzipping the zipped vhd in storage blob.
My suggestion should be that there should be an option to just unzip the zipped file in Storage Explorer. This could be a contest menu or an option that should highlighted when you select a Zipped File in Storage Explorer or Storage Explorer (Preview in Portal).

  2. Don't throw "StorageAccountAlreadyTaken" for Incremental deployments

When doing an Incremental deployment with an embedded Storage Account, do not issue "StorageAccountAlreadyTaken" if there are no changes to the resource.

  3. Multiple IP Support for storageAccount networkAcl ARM Templates

Microsoft.Storage/storageAccounts Azure Resource Manager definitions format. Currently there is no way to specify multiple IPs in an IpRule for the networkAcls config. As such, it is difficult to maintain whitelisted IPs in the "variables" or "parameters" section of my ARM template. Could multiple IP support be integrated?

  4. Bug in portal when creating a storage account attempts to copy the storage account's tags to the VNet with which it has an endpoint mapping

When creating a storage account via the portal which has tags defined and utilizes a VNet endpoint, the portal attempts to copy the storage account's tags to the VNet. This behavior does not occur with PowerShell or CLI and should not be expected anyway, as tags are specific to each individual resource. This causes additional issues if the customer has Azure Policies in place requiring certain tags on certain resources, as well as VNet endpoints for Storage Accounts, preventing deployment. This can also cause issues if the individual deploying the storage accounts doesn't have rights to update the VNet's tags.…

  5. Azure Storage Lifecycle Management - Remove Folders Rule

    Hi,

In Azure Storage Lifecycle Management, folders are not getting removed even though the blobs(files) are deleted after the given storage life cycle of tierToCool->tierToArchive->delete.

    Thanks

Lifecycle Management in Azure Storage only removes empty folders that match the condition defined in the lifecycle management policy rules. If you have soft deleted objects in an otherwise empty folder, the folder will be deleted after the retention period has expired and the soft deleted objects are permanently deleted.

Please let us know if you’re facing an issue with this behavior.
