Include PortBridge and Reverse Web Proxy
PortBridge and Reverse Web Proxy allow publishing of legacy services (and applications) via Service Bus, without altering their endpoints.
An example can be found here ( http://blogs.msdn.com/clemensv/archive/2009/11/18/port-bridge.aspx ).
We've introduced support for Azure Hybrid Connections that now enables these scenarios. Please see http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/integration-hybrid-connection-overview/ for details. Also, you can learn more about this at http://channel9.msdn.com/Shows/Cloud+Cover/Episode-144-Hybrid-Connections-with-Santosh-Chandwani.

Thank you for your feedback. Clemens' blog with samples for the port bridge can address some of these scenarios, as you've pointed out. We are exploring other requirements and constraints that legacy services and applications have, including those for which the endpoints cannot easily be altered.
