Customer & Sales Service
I am new to your service. I think you have great offerings, but the sales service is simply poor. For the past few days, I have tried but in vain to get through your sales/pre-sales department to get advise what Azure services will best suit my needs so i can purchase ( I am currently with digital ocena)
Can you point to the right direction please?
A point to note, that as someone new to Azure, it can be overwhelming to get started due to the sheer amount of information, and the lack of coordinated 1-stop shop help for your services.
I feel your pain. I also have had a bad experience with the customer service/sales team whenever I called the 1-800 number; what's the point to their team?! The chat people are ok but still don't understand the point of the chat if all they do is send links and offer to fill out a form for a call back from a "Azure Specialist". Oh and if you called once, your info stays in their system and if you need to speak to someone and try to get someone to contact you...I have a strong feeling they look up your info and last conversation with rep and depending on that conversation they may or may not call you. I am almost positive that happens. The so called "Azure Specialists" are useless. Just not helpful but sure are "specialist" in pushing you away and like to pretend to be "technical" but can't offer technical service unconditionally?? They think this way "helps" you. Microsoft Azure are just wasting their time and wasting their money with these reps. I am also new and I remember when contacting them for the first time they sent me a bunch of links to read which is fine but why not take the call and speak to the person interested in using Azure. And when you speak to these "specialist" they request info from organization, the IT person, other specific questions. NO, do your **** job in helping everyone and anyone who is interested in Azure; answer the **** questions. If this type of customer/sales service is what Microsoft is promoting then no wonder many are going to AWS; they are probably not total jerks when helping and have a yes can do attitude regardless of user interested and organization! The Azure Technical People (when you submit the ticket through the portal) I believe are located in India & Germany due to their accent (my guess not sure of course) they are super friendly and always helpful!! Some are a little too concerned about closing the ticket instead of the customer's concerns but the majority of reps that I have dealt with are just so nice and super patient. Usually I am not for outsourced customer service but for the Azure technical people located outside (when you submit a ticket through portal) keep them, they are friendly and do care about the Azure user/customer.
