Allow multiple concurrent users in the VM and allow printing from local printer using RDP
I am looking to use the Azure VM as a desktop machine, where I have installed a Windows application, and allow concurrent users to RDP into the VM. This way I can have my customers use my company's program on the VM as a SaaS. Currently I can only have two concurrent users (even if I change the configuration of "limit number of connections" to "99999" there is still no change. The only way to do this is to add the "Remote Desktop Services" role and feature.
I also think that the Azure VM should be able to access the local printer without having to add the local computer to the Virtual Network of the VM or without using Windows Connect. This way my customers can each RDP in the Azure VM and be able to use their own local printer to print.
Using the new RDS offered solution, you should be able to do this: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/luispanzano/archive/2013/07/15/remote-desktop-services-are-now-allowed-on-windows-azure.aspx

For printing on local printer using RDC you can manually add printer to redirected port TSxxx.
I wrote small article how I do it (sorry polish language content) - https://blog.polewiak.pl/2017/04/26/drukowanie-z-sesji-rdp-w-azure/
