longer name length limit > 15
15 length limitation is too short.
We need more!

It used to be longer, please allow that again, we're getting stuck with out naming convention now
Yes it would be really helpful if MSFT increase the length of the VM name
Come on MS, this is rediculous

It is really hard to follow naming convetions and come up with a name that is limited to 15 characters. Please increase it to 64
For example, the following official Azure article advise use to use the format [IT workload]-[location]-[Azure resource] for the resources and it gives an example of a VM name to be azos-use-vm-web01 where "azos" stands for Azure Online Store, "use" for East US region etc. But azos-use-vm-web01 is more than 15 characters longs. This simple well formatted name (suggested by an official Azure team itself) suggests that we definitely need more than 15 characters. When I'm following Azure team's own example, I'm getting the error "too many characters..." error for VM name.
Azure team's own example is here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/windows/infrastructure-example

The odd thing here is that it's not a Windows hostname limitation, as that can be 64 characters, and it doesn't appear to be an Azure/Resource limitation either, as Linux VMs can be 64 characters long too!
I need to this feature!
