Offer Affordable Windows Server Instances for Individuals and Developers
Windows Server is underexposed to a lot of developers and webmasters – they have no easy way to use itcompared, in contrast to their easy access to open source Linux and BSD distros. It's not available at a lot of VPS providers, and it incurs a steep surcharge where it is available.
Nano Server is arguably the most intriguing, but it's not available anywhere, at any price. As far as I can tell, it's not even available on Azure. It would be helpful if Windows Server was available for developers who want to use it to serve their own personal websites, small scale stuff. There's a lot of energy and collaboration out there among web developers who use and blog about setting up sites and servers on Linux and BSD, Apache and nginx, Docker, MySQL, etc. They never think about or talk about Windows Server, Kestrel, etc. in part because there's no easy way for Individuals to access it. If you made it easier, it would help expose a much larger technical community to Windows Server technologies. Since it's more secure than Linux, this would also be a good thing for the web as a whole.
