Identity verification by phone
I was stuck on the part of [Identity verification by phone]. My phone number is a valid number. I don't know why it presented the below message. I am come from Hong Kong. And I am using the phone number start with 5xxx xxxx.
"There's a problem with the phone number you provided. Please try again with a valid phone number."

It seems that your verification logic for phone is broken in some way.
My norwegian number starts with 47. In addition I live in Norway, which has extension +47. My hunch is that because the numbers starts with 47, the two first numbers are stripped (to capture people adding 47). This results in a phone number of only 6 characters which is not allowed.
This is the third time I report his problem to Microsoft. You are very slow on the uptake.
