free trial, took money from the credit card nonesense
I was trying to use the free trial for azure. it charged 40 USDthat I created MySQL database. is that mean a free trial
there is no sign in the azure site that, some products are free to try some of them with money charge

Apologize for the unexpected charge. We are working on making it very clear when you will be charged for a service. (especially for non-Microsoft offerings such as MySQL DB, that are allowed to be created through Azure Marketplace) Please open a support ticket to resolve the unexpected charge.

Also saw more than $300 in my account for the free trail in the first 30 days but haven't received the bill. Not sure whether Azure will really charge that from my credit card?
One question regarding this: if I plan to upgrade my subscription to "pay-as-you-go", will I still need to pay this free trail bill?

I received a large bill from Microsoft for the month of June, 2020 where I have been charged $1,096.40 . As I did more cost analysis from the Azure portal I found I have been charged for azure databricks trial.
I followed microsoft documentation to learn about databricks as in this section: "Create an Azure Databricks workspace and cluster" from this page: "https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/modules/describe-azure-databricks/3-create-workspace-cluster" . As mentioned in this documentation I took microsoft azure databricks free trial subscription for 14 days as stated in the above page : "Pricing Tier: Trial (Premium - 14 days Free DBUs). You must select this option when creating your workspace or you will be charged. The workspace will suspend automatically after 14 days. When the trial is over you can convert the workspace to Premium but then you will be charged for your usage."
Following this instruction I created the databricks workspace on June 6 and the trial ended on June 20. I confirmed from cost and event analysis that databricks resources were created on June 6 and got all deleted by June 20. It also shows the peak databricks cost was accrued between June 12 and June 20 which was still within the trial period.
I followed every instruction from the aforementioned Microsoft documentation to the letter. Hence did not expect to be charged for the databricks usage within the trial period. I feel the credits for the databricks trial period was not applied to my bill for the month of June.
I would request you to sort this out and not charge my credit card. -

this is absolute bull pucky. sm issue here... but I open a ticket with microsoft as I canceled subscriptions a month ago yet still getting billed. they jack around for a day - 2hrs of my time and tell me they can't help and that I should open a ticket with azure. jack around with 4 pages to open a ticket with azure and after all that "you don't have permissions to open a support ticket". so lemme guess... I have to pay for support to open a ticket to get you to stop billing me???

I upgraded the account to Developer support and I thought it will only charge when I will use the services. To my surprise they charged for support which was never stated anywhere while I changed the plan. I think this requires some messages to be printed on the portal.
Would it be possible to return the money ? I have cancelled the plan though! -

I have signed up for a free 12 months trial to play around and see what AZURE is. Then I have received emails confirming that my subscription and data will be deleted. Now after 2 months my credit card has been charged with $1500 and a further $1800 pending. I have not signed up for any chargeable services or I have been informed about the charges. I felt save as this is Microsoft but this experience feels more like a big SCAM with the FREE Azure 12 months Trial. I don't even know how to pay the $1500! I really hope that this can be resolved.

Hi, Today I have signed up from my test account id and it ask for 1$ charge.
As per website of azure: it says get a free trial account - so it should mean it is free trial then why Microsoft charges 1$ for the trial account of azure?
After seen this charges page, I have declined the transaction.
