Change donut chart in the overview from by resource to by resource type
The chart shows 3 items for me and then 99% other. Dividing by resource type (VM, storage, PaaS Web, PaaS SQL, networking, etc) would give a better overview of spend.

If I have same subscription name, in example, "Microsoft Azure Sponsorship" or "Visual Studio MSDN", they listed in same name.
I hovered one of items and the link shows "https://account.windowsazure.com/Subscriptions/Statement?subscriptionId=d2e9f440-9357-430e-a1bc-6d" but I found some SubscriptionID strings are completely different in real.2 votesThanks for your suggestion. Tab Indexes are broken on the Free Sign-up Billing Page.
When I press Tab, the expected behavior would be to go to the next box, but it goes to a random one on the page. This seems like it would be an easy fix. Please resolve!

Allow me to choose Azure Active Directory for new Azure Subscriptions.
When we create new subscriptions for existing or new customers, there is no prompt to associate them to an existing Azure Active Directory.
Every one of our new customers comes to us with multiple subscriptions and multiple Azure Active Directories (the record so far was 7 subscriptions across 3 directories). They always have annoying default names such as myemailcom.onmicrosoft.com, because there is no option to specify the name.
The ridiculously annoying algorithm takes the user's email address, removes the @ and . signs, and concatenates the remaining string. So myname@company.com would result in an Azure Active Directory called mynamecompanycom.onmicrosoft.com.

Specify the time span to other time zones except UTC in Usage API
When using Usage API now, we can only specify the time span to UTC.
As a result, in other time zones, when we want to compare the pricing value between the API and Azure portal, we have to check the value at midnight. (A time zone which is + 8 hour or more will not be midnight, but we have to check it eary in the morning)Therefore, it will be better if we can specify a time zone except UTC or a time span except 0:00 ~ 0:00. I was stuck on the part of [Identity verification by phone]. My phone number is a valid number. I don't know why it presented the below message. I am come from Hong Kong. And I am using the phone number start with 5xxx xxxx.

don't use credit card for simple verification
I only use the free translation service, but if you want my credit card details to sign up for that, then I can live without it. If at any time I should want to use a paid service, then you can have my credit card details.
148 votesWe currently have to use credit or debit card to verify a new sign up. That said, we’re looking at other ways to verify identity, as well as ways to help with testing Azure without verification.
If you’re a student, you can enroll in Microsoft Imagine (https://azure.microsoft.com/offers/ms-azr-0144p/) which doesn’t require a credit card to sign up.

Stop asking for personal information PRIOR to allowing us to view privacy policy. Its bad form, it violates privacy principles. Are you storing credit card information or is it simply for identification as it says. I suspect the former, which means you are not being truthful during data collection. Of course, I am unable to click on and view the privacy practives link until after I provide credit card information. That's just dumb.
Also, enabling privacy enhancing technology just as privacy badger means your site is broken and can't detect it. Simply spins and spins.

Azure usage reporting on CSP subscriptions is very limited compared to EA. Please improve reporting capabilities and also show the actual list prices in the details to use towards customers

Notify before attempting to charge our account
We customers keep provision for payment once invoice/bill is raised. However we noticed you attempt to charge at a later date. In that case please notify in 24-hour advance about your charging schedule.

I am a start-up and have only a VoIP phone, because this isn't allowed I can't try Azure; really? The credit card isn't enough, or is it more about assuring one has money?

Activating free credits has a "Purchase" button so I'm not sure if I should click
When I follow the link to Activate my free monthly Azure credits it takes me to a page with a "Purchase" button. I'm afraid I'll be charged for something so I haven't clicked it.

I see the progress bar moving left and right, but it stays that way forever.
