  2. I couldn't create a subscription

    Hello, I created a new account on Azure. I wanted to use my company's data for storage and website hosting.

    I tried to open a membership with different credit cards and different numbers 3-4 times. and none have been approved for membership.

    I wrote to Azure support regarding the issue.

    their response to me was that we will not be able to complete your purchase for you. Please understand that we take the necessary precautions to protect the integrity of Azure.

    this is my first time signing up and they almost didn't support this cause. Can someone help me with…

  4. Accounts are getting activated and INR 2/- is getting deducted from the card. Tried with multiple accounts.

    Why you deduct money and say the account is not eligible for free trail. Dont you know if the account is not eligible once I login?

    Is this a scam?

    I would like to get my money back.
    I guess GCP or AWS are far better in this area, there is a clarity there

  6. Phone verification

    When trying to login I was prompted with a screen asking for my phone number for verification purposes claiming: "A text or phone call helps us make sure this is you.".

    That is absurd; you don't already have my phone number, so you cannot possibly verify that it is me. What you're verifying is that I am someone with a phone and I doubt the sincerity of your motives for that. At the very least, you should be upfront about it and not pretend this is in any way an identity verification.

  10. Don't block free signup just because the phone verification fails

    Phone verification could be tricky, why is a blocker? If I receive the verification call -so the phone number I provide is ok- but no verification code is issued, isn't that a bug? No alternatives, no card, no github, just the phone... is that the only way to verify a user?

  12. To combat phishing, send emails like "Activate your Azure benefit with your Visual Studio subscription" digitally signed with S/MIME

    Microsoft products have supported the S/MIME standard for digitally proving email sender validity since the late '90's. Currently M365 supports similar protections. Considering that so many cryptocurrency vendors already do this (showing it's possible at an enterprise level), and MS already supports the tech, why not help fight phisihng by signing emails so they can be cryptographically verified by Outlook and other supporting clients - something scammers could never fake?

  19. Free trial limitation and same credit card issues

    As a customer, it really makes a problem to arrange different credit card once first free trial ends. 30 days free trial is too insufficient to get proper hands-on. Once first trial end, then if I want more Hands-on, then I need to arrange different credit card, which is not possible. A person either can't have more than 2 credit cards or can't use others credit card as well. These two issues are very serious I believe. Please try to focus on it.
