  1. Support additional regional formats

Billing history in the portal displays dates in US format. The same applies to the usage report.... Would love to be able to change a single setting somewhere so that all dates are in UK (or other) format...

    Thanks for the feedback.

We do have the ability to switch languages in the footer. Based on the language selection, we update the date formats as well. But for English we currently default to US formats. We’ll look into adding support for UK as well.

  2. More Budget, to play arraound with Azure for MSDN Subcribers

Would be nice, to get more playarround budget for MSDN Subscribers.

  4. Show EA account credits in the Billing API

    Hi guys,

We would really like to see billing credits in the billing API CSV data. This could show up as reverse charges (negative values) or in a form of a separate API function and a separate CSV file (in case that Microsoft does not have the same level of detail when it comes to applying credits).

Currently it does not look like there are any reverse charges in the API.

    Thanks

  5. Make pricing information more visible.

It seems that wherever you are, it's hard to get an estimate of how much it will cost. For example, Try setting up a Sharepoint Server Farm. You first have to provide passwords, user groups, domain controllers, etc. Even then, the price might still state: "$0.00
    Current Charge".
Recommendation: group standard configurations with the price up front, Add a Custom button or Customize feature or even add a template library with prices. That would be helpful.

  6. Change donut chart in the overview from by resource to by resource type

The chart shows 3 items for me and then 99% other. Dividing by resource type (VM, storage, PaaS Web, PaaS SQL, networking, etc) would give a better overview of spend.

  7. Allow me to choose Azure Active Directory for new Azure Subscriptions.

When we create new subscriptions for existing or new customers, there is no prompt to associate them to an existing Azure Active Directory.

Every one of our new customers comes to us with multiple subscriptions and multiple Azure Active Directories (the record so far was 7 subscriptions across 3 directories). They always have annoying default names such as myemailcom.onmicrosoft.com, because there is no option to specify the name.

The ridiculously annoying algorithm takes the user's email address, removes the @ and . signs, and concatenates the remaining string. So myname@company.com would result in an Azure Active Directory called mynamecompanycom.onmicrosoft.com.

    Customers…

  8. Specify the time span to other time zones except UTC in Usage API

When using Usage API now, we can only specify the time span to UTC.
As a result, in other time zones, when we want to compare the pricing value between the API and Azure portal, we have to check the value at midnight. (A time zone which is + 8 hour or more will not be midnight, but we have to check it eary in the morning)

Therefore, it will be better if we can specify a time zone except UTC or a time span except 0:00 ~ 0:00. (We can only specify 0:00 ~ 0:00 if we set the…

  9. Tab Indexes are broken on the Free Sign-up Billing Page.

When I press Tab, the expected behavior would be to go to the next box, but it goes to a random one on the page. This seems like it would be an easy fix. Please resolve!

  11. account.windowsazure.com/Subscriptions should show SubscriptionId on the list

If I have same subscription name, in example, "Microsoft Azure Sponsorship" or "Visual Studio MSDN", they listed in same name.
I hovered one of items and the link shows "https://account.windowsazure.com/Subscriptions/Statement?subscriptionId=d2e9f440-9357-430e-a1bc-6d" but I found some SubscriptionID strings are completely different in real.

  13. More then 1 account owner please

It is only this person that can create subscriptions within the account. We are a large organization and we are dependent on 1 single person to do this task. Please, please make it possible to delegate this to a AzureAD group or that we can add mulitipe persons as account owners. You already have this possibility on the Department level so why not implement the same thing on the account level?

  16. Allow us to view privacy policy. Its bad form, it violates privacy principles.

Stop asking for personal information PRIOR to allowing us to view privacy policy. Its bad form, it violates privacy principles. Are you storing credit card information or is it simply for identification as it says. I suspect the former, which means you are not being truthful during data collection. Of course, I am unable to click on and view the privacy practives link until after I provide credit card information. That's just dumb.

Also, enabling privacy enhancing technology just as privacy badger means your site is broken and can't detect it. Simply spins and spins.

    I really keep trying to…

Thanks for the feedback. We do include the privacy statement under the Agreement section, and you can view it at any time by expanding that section.

That said, we’ll look into making this more obvious.

  17. Change Partner of Record to be per subscription

At large corporations, usually there are multiple partners who are heavily involved with different pieces of Azure deployments or projects. In that case, who gets to the "the" partner of record?

It would be helpful if Partner of Record was marked at the subscription level and any subscription admin could mark it in the Azure Portal.

  18. Activating free credits has a "Purchase" button so I'm not sure if I should click

When I follow the link to Activate my free monthly Azure credits it takes me to a page with a "Purchase" button. I'm afraid I'll be charged for something so I haven't clicked it.
If it is "free" the button should say "Activate" not "Purchase"

  19. EA billing data is available within minutes

Currently our customers need to wait between 2 and 3 days before the billing data is available in the EA Billing API. Microsoft comits to give the full billing details only after 5 days, which is too important.

Some customers have big consumption bursts (20K€ for example) and would like to be able to see the billing data in "real time", or at least the next day. Not 3 or 4 days after the burst happened.

In short, customers want to be able to monitor their consumption with fewer latencies.
