don't use credit card for simple verification
I only use the free translation service, but if you want my credit card details to sign up for that, then I can live without it. If at any time I should want to use a paid service, then you can have my credit card details.
148 votesWe currently have to use credit or debit card to verify a new sign up. That said, we’re looking at other ways to verify identity, as well as ways to help with testing Azure without verification.
If you’re a student, you can enroll in Microsoft Imagine (https://azure.microsoft.com/offers/ms-azr-0144p/) which doesn’t require a credit card to sign up.

I have no phone other then VoIP; you don't allow this why?
I am a start-up and have only a VoIP phone, because this isn't allowed I can't try Azure; really? The credit card isn't enough, or is it more about assuring one has money?

Identity verification by credit card section hangs with the progress bar
I was stuck at the step "The Identity Verification By Credit Card".
I see the progress bar moving left and right, but it stays that way forever.

Show list prices on CSP Azure usage report
Azure usage reporting on CSP subscriptions is very limited compared to EA. Please improve reporting capabilities and also show the actual list prices in the details to use towards customers

I was stuck on the part of [Identity verification by phone]. My phone number is a valid number. I don't know why it presented the below message. I am come from Hong Kong. And I am using the phone number start with 5xxx xxxx.

Cannot change payment method for new subscription

The page shows some old credit card, which I want to change, but the progress bar just seems to be never ending.

free trial, took money from the credit card nonesense
I was trying to use the free trial for azure. it charged 40 USDthat I created MySQL database. is that mean a free trial
there is no sign in the azure site that, some products are free to try some of them with money charge66 votesApologize for the unexpected charge. We are working on making it very clear when you will be charged for a service. (especially for non-Microsoft offerings such as MySQL DB, that are allowed to be created through Azure Marketplace) Please open a support ticket to resolve the unexpected charge.

Allow migration of direct azure subscriptions to CSP subscriptions.

To re-generate Previous invoice with updated details
Can you please have some solution to re-generate previous Invoice with updated details.
For example: When we update the Company Name after the last Invoice generated, we have to wait till next Invoice to get that New company name reflected which does not make sense.
This usually affects the Business since we cannot make payment with Incorrect Company name which will ultimately Suspend our services.
Please TREAT this Feedback as URGENT and have some solution on this ASAP.

change of currency
Please let us choose and change our billing currency.
A the moment my billing currency dors not match my crédit card and bank. And I can't create a new account because the transfer of assets and BizSpark benefits are cumbersome at most.

Thanks for the post , votes, and comments. We are aware of this limitation and are targeting sometime next year to improve this experience. In the meantime you can sign up for a new account in your desired country and transfer your assets to the new account via Support.

Invoice option for Marketplace
Hello Team,
Please make Marketplace products compatible with Invoice option.
When we enable Invoice option and if we purchase any Marketplace products, the Invoice option gets disabled and the support tell to delete the Marketplace products to get Invoice option enabled again.
But the thing is, we cannot afford to delete some of the Marketplace products as it will directly affects our business.
Please, requesting you to have an option so Marketplace products won't affect Invoice option.

Billing tags
Use tags on resource group level for billing in EA portal.
Currently we have to tag all sources within a resource group for billing information in the EA portal. It would be more efficient if the tags on the resource group level are used in the reports53 votesThis is great feedback and while we don’t have plans to include this on our roadmap in the near future, we will certainly follow up with the other stakeholders to determine the next steps to getting this feature supported.

It would be great if you could answer the following questions:
1) Please show me where on the azure web site that it states that cloud services are auto deleted immediately if a subscription is disabled for any reason.
2) Please let me know if you also delete cloud services automatically without warning “by design” if a credit card expires or fails dues to funds shortage or the like?

You allow for Trials direct from Microsoft but you do not allow partners to host a trial like you do with O365. Why not???
