In our organization, we have enabled SSO for more than 40 applications. We are finding the Enterprise Applications interface difficult to navigate, and believe that a Nickname field or improvement to search would be helpful. Let's say there's an application called Widgets Express made by Contoso Software. If we create an Enterprise application for SSO, we need for our users to see the application as "Gadgets" because that's how our corporate culture calls the service being offered by Contoso. So when a support issue arises, may need to support it needing to know all three keywords - Widgets, Contoso, and Gadgets. If an end-user reported a problem, the admin needs to know "gadgets" translates to "Widgets Express by Contoso," but if a problem is reported by Contoso (such as a certificate renewal or software service change), then we need to find the application by our corporate culture name, gadgets. Since the search utility on the Enterprise Applications page seems to yield results only if you already know the first few letters of the application name, it will fail on a lookup for Gadgets if the application was named something like "My Gadgets." The Powershell Get-AzureADApplication can help with finding partial names, but in those results, it's also difficult to distinguish what is SSO and what's a regular application. Trying to follow a naming convention helps some, and we do maintain internal documentation, but we would prefer not to resort to naming applications "My Gadgets also known as Widgets Express made by Contoso." Please add some additional fields in the Enterprise Applications properties for things like SSO and nickname, or improve the search experience to find applications by partial name and/or HomePage URL.
