  1. MFA as second authentication factor for SSPR

With SSPR we can active several authentication methods (office phone, mobile, alternate email, security questions). This is great, but it would be perfect if we there would be an extra validation on MFA if the user is enrolled.

Based on the comments, it sounds like the ask is to integrate security questions into MFA. We do not plan to do this at this time. However, we have made mobile app notification and code available for SSPR and have converged the registration and management experiences for SSPR and MFA. You can learn more at aka.ms/securityinfodocs. Thanks!

  2. Allow Azure AD Password Reset auth info re-confirm to be disabled by app

Allow Azure AD Password Reset authentication information re-confirm to be disabled by app. This setting is defaulted to 180 and can be changed or globally disabled.

While it is nice to remind users to verify their authentication proofs are still valid, having this on breaks seamless SSO flows when it is configured for things like ZScaler.

The user is suddenly prompted for interaction in a flow that otherwise is normally handled in the background.

  3. Language switcher for Self Service Password Reset

Currently (November 2017) The language of the Self Service Password Reset pages are based on your browser language. The only way to change the language the pages are presented in is to change your browser language. This is not always possible or desired. If a user doesn't have access to their own computer because they're locked out or have forgotten your password, and they go to a coworkers machine or a kiosk machine they may not have access to change the browser language (or know how).

Please provide a site-based language switcher to override the browser language for presenting the…

  4. Can we customise the page you're taken to after self-service password resetting/registering/changing?

Right now after registering, resetting or changing passwords you're left in either a dead-end page, or a strange azure apps page which our users are not familiar with.

Can we set a page that users are directed to after they have registered or reset/changed their password?

  5. Allow HeartBeatIntervalInMilliseconds to be configured.

We need to be able to reduce the Heartbeat Interval to prevent a timeout issue through our proxy server. Editing the configuration settings would help.

  6. Azure SSPR

We don't want SSPR to follow the on-premise "minimum password age" policy to reset the password. The “Minimum password Age” is set to 2 Days in on-premise only for password change scenario and not for password reset.

Pls advice how we can set SSPR to reset the password by ignoring the on-premise AD password history and minimum password age policy values.

Disadvantage: If user forgot the password that he/she recently changed or they want to change more stronger password then either they've to wait for 2 days or ended up calling helpdesk. Other 3rd party tool doesn't have this challenge.

    Hello,

If you are using password writeback, we don’t have a way to ignore specific parts of your AD password policy. We don’t have plans to implement this feature at this time. Please let us know if you have any additional thoughts or questions.

    Thanks!

  7. Password write back using only Azure AD

Our desire is to use Azure AD without any on prem servers. We do not want to host anything or have a data center. We'd like everything to be in the cloud. However, currently, there is no password sync/password write back from devices that are connected to the Azure AD. When our users reset their passwords on their laptops that are joined to the Azure AD, it does not propagate through to O365 or their mobile devices. This creates constant password headaches and these headaches will only get worse as we continue to scale. We attempted to work through this…

  8. When a user tries to reset their password in Azure Self Service Password Reset before they have enrolled they hit a landing page that says I

When you are not registered in Azure SSPR and you try to reset your password you go to this landing page.

"If you'd like, we can contact an administrator in your organization to reset your password for you."

I would like for this page to be modifyable so we can redirect our users to register for Azure SSPR as the message is not very user friendly for our users as it would be nice to have a message more like "You are trying to reset your password and you are not enrolled please click on the below link to register…

Thank you for your feedback! You can customize the link that users click when they want to contact their administrator. Check out our customization documentation here: https://docs.microsoft.com/azure/active-directory/active-directory-passwords-customize.

We don’t plan to implement a feature where users are redirected to register for password reset if they need to reset their password and haven’t registered yet. This would be a security flaw since it would mean that users could register for password reset without knowing their password and therefore anyone could register for them.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Thanks,
    Sadie Henry (sahenry)

  9. Allow users to create their own Security Questions

No further description necessary. Many websites allow this.

Thank you for your feedback! At this time, we do not plan to implement user-customizable security questions. However, you can create custom security questions for your users through the Password reset admin portal.

    Thank you,

  12. Allow email address as username for self-service password reset

it is not possible to use email address as the User ID for Self-Service Password Reset. This current only allows for the usage of the UserPrincipal name that may not be as user friendly to a user. Please allow SSPR to use either UPN or primary email address as the user name when trying to use SSPR.

  13. Email Services Management for Yahoo Account

Yahoo is an advanced email service that comes with many benefits in offering. To reap these benefits, you need to know various features or options of this Yahoo Customer Service. 14. Enable "Pluggable" user verification for SSPR

Enable a customer to add their own "user verification" for SSPR. Example, some customers have a user certificate that could be used as a verification method.

  15. Change SSPR Registration to *** out answerd questions, like what FIM does

To protect from users looking over your shoulder when you register or answer a SSPR question, can you please remove the question or **** it out, like what FIM does today?
