Better governance for SaaS apps (App Registration description)
Azure App Registration needs some kind of better governance. The amount of applications is exploding within companies with all kind of apps all ranging from breakfast to compliance applications. Microsoft needs to add some some extra property fields that can be used for description of the application purpose, but also a field that can be used for service management. I do not think that a Azure Tag would be sufficient. It must be some kind of value that can be set on the application.
Hi Peter, thanks for the feedback. If you could reach out to me I would love to chat more to understand your scenario.

considering that many companies have "Thousands of Azure AD apps" created in their Own Home Tenant, please provide additional attributes like
- "description" (so it can be set/maintained by IT to keep a decent inventory)
or allow creation of custom attributes
It is practicaly Impossible to maintain an inventory up to date without such attributes in the object's schema and idealy exposed into the Azure AD Portal

Any updates regarding the review? Would be great to have a decorative attributes for like documentation URL or an attribute to help describe the app? Maybe separation in the UI that is says that it is an SSO app when Implicit Grant Access Token or ID Token are set. Something to tell the difference when an app registration is used for API access vs SSO?
