Azure AD B2C Data Residency in Australia
Although Azure AD B2C is available for use in Australia, there is not option to create a directiry for which the user data resides in Australia. We would like to be able to ensure that our Azure AD B2C user data remains in Australia.
We plan to start work on this in the next 6 months. Please note we don’t have timing on when it would be available for customers.

Data residency in Australia just went GA. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory-b2c/data-residency

I saw that the having the data hosted in Australia was released in preview about 3 weeks ago. Good to see!
Is there a road map for what will now happen with Azure B2C tenants that we've already created that reside in Asia Pacific? We wish to have their region changed to Australia. Will there be capabilities introduced where we can get that data residency migrated without changes to tenant dns names, etc..?
Please don't tell me that we'll have to destroy and recreate the B2C tenants from scratch. :-(

Another vote for this with data hosted in Australia please.
Hi there, this is getting crucial now that we need this Azure AD B2C available for use in Australia. Otherwise all our clients will turn around and leave.
Hi all, trust me. Azure AD B2C is the worst SSO, OAuth2.0/OIDC based product.
It has nothing:
No deep integration, no RoPC support, no JS widget with Ajax calls.
No data residency in Australia.
I have suffered a lot with this product and will whole heartedly recommend Okta or OneLogin or PingIdentity.
Please never use AD B2C.

We have a big project in Australia region and this is a serious issue which forces us to change cloud provider if this will be not delivered within 2 months. Are there any plans to support it soon?

c'mon guys. where's the christmas spirit?
I want Azure B2C under my tree this year.
Any update on this?
Can you provide an update, it has been much longer than 6 months.
Any update on availability?
Hi Azure team, how are we going on this? Was planning to choose B2B as a real option.
Just wondering if there is any update on this?

This was an unexpected & unpleasant surprise I found when setting up a B2C Tenant. Pretty poor in my opinion.

Due to privacy concerns we need this in Australia. It looks like we'll be hosting this ourselves until then.

Can someone from the Microsoft team please provide some useful time frames?
"we plan to start work.." is not helpful at all. We need at least an expected availability for customers, so that we can plan current and future developments accordingly.

"I have got an update from our B2C product team that the expectation ETA is in the end of this year if everything goes well. "
Hey Microsoft, is there any update on when Australia will be added so data can reside in a Tenant within Australian shores? Promise was 6 months in July 2019. It's now a year later and there is no update or change. Surely this is worth addressing as your losing business to other options.
