Password expiry notification for Azure AD joined devices?
It would be great if a Password Expiry notification could be implement for full Windows 10 Azure AD-joined clients in the same way as the domain joined clients receive them. A notification that pops up at bottom-right corner of the screen. At the moment I wasn't able to find any way of enabling that.
We use Azure Directory Sync - no ADFS.
Thank you for your feedback! Would you like the feature to be controlled by the admin or available for everyone?
How is this not the default setup for all mailbox users? Why wouldn't any admin want users to know their password is about to expire? Generic email "Your Exchange password is set to expire in 7 days". Then, ideally, allow us to modify the message "... to reset your password...".
Seriously! You really need to fix this! It's not OK that users should just suddenly notice that they can't login/authenticate!

This seems like a fundamental issue. All of our organisations devices are Cloud only Intune managed however all users are managed on-prem and synched to AAD with AD Connect. The only way our users know that their password has expired is when they can no longer access internal resources from their device.
The feature should be admin controlleed not user controlled as this is part of the orgnisations password complexity requirements.
I'm baffled you must have millions of affected users/organisations experiencing this issue ?
Please get this implemented ASAP. Admin controlled.
My company desperately needs this feature to work. I've read several suggestions that the AAD password expiration notice is expected (and only expected) to pop up in the Windows 10 notification area. I would be happy to refer my users to this notification area, but it is not working for any of my AAD joined workstations. Ironically, it does work on non-AAD joined workstations if the work account is added as a secondary account in Windows 10 Settings > Accounts > Access work or school and/or Email & accounts. Since this business-critical feature works on a non-business managed device, I can't fathom why it does not work on a business managed device.
Hi MS Team,
Can we please have a solution for Password Expiry notification for full Windows 10 Azure AD-joined clients in the same way as the domain joined clients receive them. A notification that pops up at bottom-right corner of the screen. We use Azure Directory Sync - no ADFS.
Any update to providing an email notification? Users miss the Windows pop-up, our mobile device users and Mac users are caught off guard with no notification.

Please fix this error. This is because it is misleading for the end user. Is there a option to turn off this message by registry?
Azure should have a native tool for this so every user could be informed with or without Azure AD Connect and with PHS or PTA
Any update? We need this notification implemented... at least implement a email notification for the user to let them know their password is about to expire.
Almost a year since this was set under review...

We need this now. Please give us this feature.
Could you please provide us an update as we are receiving n number of support tickets regarding this issue?
Requesting Sadie Henry to throw light on this issue. Thanks!
Any update on this? This is a feature that should have been implemented by now. Users are getting locked out as they aren't getting password expiry notification.
Need to update the gents at o365 support. They claim this feature is live and functional and will send you on a crazy witch hunt to try and fix it. Ultimately, never getting fixed and you ending up talking to AZURE support who tells you the feature doesn't work.
This feature needs to work. Why would you not have this feature in the first place???
It would be great if a Password Expiry notification could be implement
