Need to add categories of applications in the myapps portal
Need to add categories of applications in the myapps portal - as you add a large amount of SSO apps, need to make it easier for user to navigate

Thanks so much for the feedback! We know how important it is for users to have the ability to customize their app list and make it very easy to find their core applications.
Customizations of the My Apps portal for both end users and admins are top priority on our roadmap. This includes providing the ability to re-arrange and group apps and provide users sets of categorized apps.
Please keep sharing your feedback and ideas around this!

Let the icons scroll as wide as the screen, so depending on the browser width you might have 6 across or 20 across. The choice of absolute, relative, and float width should be up to the user. Make it more like the windows 10 start page so we can rearrange icons, resize them, and group them, pin them or float. I don't like the tabs, but making that an option has a place so the organization can provide a focus front page tab and alternate tabs, or all. When a user's eyes are great they zoom out, when not so great they zoom in; when zoomed out I get great icon size but poor performance from my screen-estate having only 6 icons across - more blank space than icons. A list view would be nice, as well as presenting the full name with mouse hover. Each icon should be configurable to open in the current browser tab or open a new tab.

There is something like this currently in Preview: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/user-help/my-applications-portal-overview
Problems I've seen so far though:
1. You can't create Workspaces to include any of the built in Microsoft Apps - those only show in the "All Apps" tab
2. Although it looks like you organize the apps up/down in a list the portal doesn't pay any attention to it and organizes them based on use? Not sure it even does that though
3. It's showing apps for Add-ins we've pushed out - no reason to have these in the portalRequests:
1. Ability to have Microsoft apps in the Workspaces
2. Have a Favorites tab that users can create themselves
3. Have a Frequents tab that organizes apps based on usage just like the Browser plug-in does it
4. Let users toggle between sizes to show more/less
5. Search bar only searches on the tab you're on - why not global search? -

Any update on this?

Any updates on when we may see the categorisation of Apps feature?
I'm on the cusp of deploying a solution where there will be 500+ Enterprise Apps available to users and we need a way for it to not be one long unmanageable list.

Ideas for the MyApps portal:
- Compact view (no logo icons or very small icons to see more apps on a single page)
- Frequently used apps more prominent at the top like the browser plugin organizes them
- Ability to pin or favorite apps to keep them at the top or on the right side under the search bar
- Ability for Admins to customize the built in Microsoft apps (hide apps the company doesn't want to promote, change logos, change the display name) -

Thanks so much for the feedback! We're working to bring end user and admin customizations to the My Apps portal. This will include creating folders of applications and company branding in the portal.
Please vote on features you care about to help us prioritize.

we see possibilities to position it as a global portal for application offering (user can see all his applications in one view). as applications grow this is not delivering a good user experience when all applications are displayed as one big list and make it less attractive to use. If this component has also an important positioning within the modern management setup by MIcrosoft, this feature should be also offered from my perspective.

Giving users the ability to customize their MyApps portal, Categorize their SSO apps or just be able to prioritize those apps that are important, would be a huge time saver. Currently we have 25 apps in our portal and it's really hard to find things.
