Document how to get large videos (e.g., above 200MB) uploaded
There is no obvious or documented way to get a large video (e.g., above 200MB) into Media Services without writing code or without some Windows dependent application.
Though not documented very well, I'm able to load large mp4 file into a Storage Account. It would appear that there is upload capability from Storage accounts to a Media Account. But, though the Storage accounts appears in the dialog box, the video blob does not.
The blob is definitely there (confirmed with the CLI and from the portal). But it is not visible from the "Upload content" dialog screen.
Please document this…

Quick access to an account via jump list feature
We have multiple accounts.
If we can access to each accounts via jump-list, it's more useful.1 vote -
[Bug] Media service streaming units
I uploaded a video into Media service and then created a H264 Adaptive Bitrate video from it. I can't publish this if there are no streaming units configured. So I configured one and then published the video. Now if I scale streaming unit back to 0, the Play button for streaming unit is still available although there is no streaming unit to back it. When i play this view, I get "Network error". Shouldn't the Play button be disabled if there are no streaming units configured?

Deleting more than one item from Azure Media service content
Currently we need to select each item and click on delete for removing the items in Azure media service content. Give us the option to select more than one item and delete.
4 votesWe are discussing multi-select with the portal team as a potential improvement. Thank you for the suggestion.

Quick way to see Media properties such as bitrate, duration, w x h, formats
Ie. in the Azure Admin, media content listing, when you select a media item, add a button at the bottom that says INFO and just shows a popup with all kinds of information about the media item.
This would help us save time.
