Please provide the ability to load cloud service packages from azure storage accounts just like the old portal
I'd like the ability to update a cloud service in the preview portal using a package located in an azure storage blob container. This feature is supported in the old portal and should be available in the preview portal. I use this feature for deploying production builds since it allows me to quick revert back to an earlier build if needed.

Same here, our build process puts packages in blob storage. The "From Storage" makes deployments much easier. Sorely missing in the new portal.

We use this feature for all our deployments. I don't understand why this would get cut, or is missing.
This is a critical feature for us. We have multiple deployments and this way the process is much more reliable with easy fall back to previous version without the need to wait endlessly for upload
Agree, I do this all the time. I keep an archive of the last several builds in blob storage in case I need to revert to them. It's doubly stupid that the new portal writes the package to storage but then won't allow me to deploy again from that blob that it just wrote.
Also, my home internet connection has terrible upload speeds (892 Kbps advertised - less in practice). It takes forever to upload a new package. I used to upload it via a storage client, and then just do the deployment. Now I have to tie up Visual Studio or a heavyweight browser tab just to push bytes. It's stupid.

Yes, we rely on the "From Storage" option as well. Our automated build process puts the packages in Azure storage so that we can quickly and easily login into the Azure portal from anywhere to deploy (and revert) at the right time.
The Azure Preview Portal does not allow us to do this.
