Allow easy ASP.NET precompilation in Cloud projects
Make it easy to precompile an web application prior to creating the CSPKG.
Good feedback. Let us take a look. Please vote this up if others would like this support.
What's the latest with this? It's a horrible experience to not be able to precompile the site before the LB starts sending traffic. There needs to be some direction here.

This is in the top 5 cloud service requests * and yet still there is nothing!!! Are you still alive? Does MS still have Program Managers? Does anyone there care??

Still no update :-o?!?!? It's a joke all the Azure tools are so clever but the deployment so dumb! A complex aspnet MVC site take MINUTES (!) to compile the homepage! The poor "publish" function at the web project has no usable options for a real web role deployment, nor does it see the existing services in my subscription for deploying into. Please, fix this!
I've come to the conclusion it's time to move to AWS, cearly MS can't be bothered here.
Yes please provide an update. ANY self respecting web app/site will not want its users wating several seconds while views are compiled.
So.. where are we at on this?
Same pre-compile solution can be used for this (170 votes at the moment) http://feedback.azure.com/forums/169386-cloud-services-web-and-worker-role/suggestions/3769859-warm-up-iis-applications-in-webrole
This would be enormously useful... in fact it's a necessity. I could save minutes off my app start up time with precompiled views!

Really wish I could add 10 000 votes on this item :)
Precompilation at compile time is available for almost every other way to deploy (via the publish settings) so that would be pretty awesome :)
