  1. Allow IP Restrictions to be a Slot Setting

    In the same way as we have with App Settings it should be possible to make the IP Restrictions a slot setting (sticky) so that they don't migrate when you swap slots. This could be per IP even....

  3. in ASE disable TLS 1.1

    Allow for the disablement of TLS 1.1 protocols from ASE in a similar method as TLS 1.0. This would help secure systems further for ISVs building new API Apps and help with additional security concerns and compliance for PCI and others.

    Allowing for the same method but adding an additional JSON in cluster settings to actually trigger the TLS 1.1 disablement would be good.

    "clusterSettings": [

    {
    "name": "DisableTls1.0",
    "value": "1"
    },
    {
    "name": "DisableTls1.1",
    "value": "1"
    }
    ],

  4. Enabling ASE outbound traffic to be routed through NGF

    As of now ASE requires nexthop to be internet and in some organizations it is seen as security concern. Can we get the ASE be enabled to support traffic routing through NGF.

  5. Graceful App Service Restart/Recycle Option

    In the azure portal admin there is a restart option on web app services that seems to stop the app pool and then start it. This is a good option and I wouldn't want that to go away, however, sometimes I need a more graceful 'recycle' option that doesn't seem to be available in azure. The use case I keep coming across for this is a config file type of change that I need to force a manual reload of and I'd like to do it during peak hours.

  6. Make authentication/authorization live feature. It is currently in preview for linux webapps

    Authentication and authorization is in preview for quite long time. When can we expect a stable release of the auth feature.

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

    The Authentication/Authorization feature for Linux Web Apps, hosted in code or container, is in GA status. We’ll remove the preview tag shortly.

    The one caveat here is the support for multi-container which the feature will remain in preview there.

    Thanks,
    Oded

  7. Web app for container when is it production ready in ASE

    we have started building our apps using .net core and web app for containers. Using ASE at the same time when will it be ready for live/production systems?

  8. Warning when App service plan is without any running App service

    Many customers delete their app service without deleting or scale down the App service plan. Therefore, App service plan keeps charging them.

    My customer suggests could we have a warning icon in front of the App Service Plan so that we can know which App Service Plan is without any running app?

    We have a warning on the page when deleting the last app in a plan that reads as follows:
    “This is the last app in the App Service plan. Delete this App Service plan to prevent unexpected charges.”
    On that same warning we also provide the option to delete the plan in the same action using a button selecting between “yes/no”.

    Thanks,
    Oded

    Thank you for reporting this error! We have a bug in the Microsoft log in process though all other social logins work properly right now. We are working on fixing this at the moment. If the error was not using the Microsoft login, rest assured we are running through testing all scenarios.

    Thanks,
    Oded

  10. Connect to Azure SQL using PowerShell in an MSI enabled function app

    For App Services that have Manage Service Identity, enable Azure SQL Database authentication.

  11. There should be an option to move an App from one App service Environment to another App Service Environment

    There should be an option to move an App from one App service Environment to another App Service Environment . Right now we have to create again a new App if only we have to change ASE.
