Add SSL on shared tier

Add SSL on shared tier

The jump from shared to basic tier for SSL is excessive. Please help small web app developers secure our apps without breaking the bank.

SSL is available on Shared by using the default host name, which is already bound to https. We don’t support the custom host name on these plans which are not recommended for production sites.

    Thanks,

I understand the reasoning for not providing SSL for custom domains on shared plans. Shared plans are appealing for a small personal projects and compare well with GoDaddy price wise. It would be pretty sweet to be able to go with azure for these small kinds of websites too. The only deal breaker is no SSL on custom domains on this plan which is unacceptable for a public website these days.

i understand that this plan is not recommended for production apps.
But in some cases is very necessary, for example a developer blog that have a custom domain and want a SSL.

I think that will be nice
