3. Problem with Dynamic Configuration with Azure App Configuration

I try to use the dymamic configuration for my Asp.net core application. My Program.cs has the follow configuration:

public static IWebHostBuilder CreateWebHostBuilder(string[] args) =>

WebHost.CreateDefaultBuilder(args)

.ConfigureAppConfiguration((context, config) => {

config.AddAzureAppConfiguration(options =>
options.Connect("connectionstring")
.Use("*", context.HostingEnvironment.EnvironmentName)
.WatchAndReloadAll("Configuracoes:*", TimeSpan.FromSeconds(5)));
})
.UseStartup<Startup>();

In my controller I use the IOptionsSnapshop<Configuracoes>...

private Configuracoes _config;

public HomeController(IOptionsSnapshot<Configuracoes> config)

{
_config = config.Value;
}

but, when I update the value of config at the Azure and then refreshing my website, the new value it's not updated.

In the configuration explorer i have:

key Configuracoes:BackgroundColor
Label Development
Value red

key Configuracoes:BackgroundColor
Label Production
Value blue

Can you help me?

4. Log event that service plan can not handle all web apps instead killing biggest app in a loop without proper information

After spending 8+ hours debugging why Linux Web app is restarting (case: 119061321000317) I would like you to fix logging for web app plan - if Service plan cannot accomodate web apps contained in a plan - please log that health check killed biggest app in a plan and not logging "unhelthy" state.

6. App Service Environment's IP is being blacklist from Spam Rats

The IP address of App Service should not be blacklisted to any platform like Spam Rats. This gives the client some confusion on what was going on with the environment.

7. If you develop a future in Webapp to resolve hostname in same vnet to communicate with the hostname to other VM to resolve host entry

Using hostname by editing of the hosts file. to resolve the hostname to ip to name without DNS that will help, Because of this reason, the customer cannot move to another PASs service instead of a web app. If you implement this future like a haddop cluster that environment that will be helpful to everyone. for this reason, the support team is taking more months to give the conclusion. ask the update on the feedback.

9. Running df -<switch> on a Linux App Service must return the disk space used by the App Service Plan on the remote file system mount (/home)

Running df -h / df -P on a Linux App Service container (in case of remote file system mount on /home) should return the disk space utilized on the remote file system by the App Service Plan instead of the total disk space utilized on the remote file system.

We are trying to monitor the disk space utilized on the /home folder on a Linux App Service using AppDynamics extensions.

AppDynamics agent runs a df -h or df -P on the app service container. This command returns the total disk space utilized on the remote file system mounted on /home…

Does anyone have a good video or coding example that I can follow? I need to make sure the secured api piece works using postman and how I can get swagger ui to work also. Because My api and my web application are both on premise can I use Azure AD for OAuth2 or do I have to create my own identity server?

11. Make Small App Service Plans (S1/B1) more reliable

We've faced a issue of random high CPU in App Service Plan (S1), Azure support says that it is due to internal monitoring. But my suggestion is why to keep app service plan on such low resources that internal monitoring services suck the CPU / Memory resources.

In Short - Microsoft should make the azure internal services to use minimum resources / increase resources for small app service plans such as S1.

14. Support running "App Service" runtime environment on-premises on Windows Server

For small projects, especially for "Web App", and without using "Azure Stack", I will be a great added value to have a 100% API compatible "Azure App Service - Web app" runtime environment running natively on Windows Server.

Somehow it will be a modern revisit of the Windows "Component service" in the arena of an App servers

18. Assign users or groups per virtual application

It would be great to configure assigned users or groups per virtual application in a web app instead of on the whole web app level. because in our case, we have to have different users for different virtual applications.

19. Stick to the original timeline for App Services in UAE

We have clients in the middle east who are currently hosted in Europe. This causes high latency which would be solved by hosting in UAE.

20. Install a Docker container as part of a Site Extension, but not as the primary App Service site.

I want to use an agent that is written in Go to listen for requests from within the App Service. Although this can be accomplished by running the Go agent in a separate VM, the intent is to have it seamlessly available within the App Service. We will be installing another agent-like library into the App Service, and it will be embedded in the web app so that it can monitor it and send data to the Go agent.
