Restart option for Azure Redis Cache
Currently I havn't seen any UI command to Restart Azure Redis Cache Service.
I know there is a way to shutdown and start however missing in the portal.
This is available now.
Yes no options for restarting the cache service . please provide me alternatives .

This has been available for some time now on Premium Caches. For more details, you can refer to this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/redis-cache/cache-administration#reboot

In our case, somehow connections limit 1000 maxed out in few hours and there is absolutely no option to reset connections, flush activities. cli wont accept admin connection. So the only option left is restart the Cloud service instances but not convinced there is no way to reset the Cache service from Portal
That would be very useful. Imagine you have all your client connection taken because of a bug. You may want to reset the cache. Now, the portal doesn't have a restart, start or stop option. In that particular case, you cannot even connect via a console since all connections are taken. You are stuck.
